HP South Africa has always been committed to promoting empowerment and ascribes to the principles of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE). We believe that B-BBEE is key to realising our full potential as a company and an imperative of doing business in South Africa.
Our commitment to transformation in the ICT sector and broader South African economy has once again been evidenced by our excellent achievements against the Department of Trade and Industry’s (dti) gazetted Codes of Good Practice.
HP achieved a Level 3 Contributor status to B-BBEE with a certified score of 77.43%.
This figure represents HP’s total score against the seven pillars of B-BBEE, and has been externally verified by Empowerdex. This is another positive development for HP on the road to true empowerment and transformation.
